Send one large file to someone, privately.
One file per code. For several files or a folder, zip them first.

Send the recipient both of these. Ideally use two different channels, e.g. the link by email and the code by message.
The code keeps working until the file has been downloaded completely once. After that it expires, and the file is deleted soon afterwards.
